To meet this claim, the Somuna Crew sets a high value on the careful selection of all the musicians and djs. Selection criteria are: personal, creative expression, musical autonomy and authenticity. All the djs should be able to respond sensitivly to the atmosphere on the dancfloor.
To get sure that the music reaches the listeners in it s perfection, a first-quality soundsystem with a total output of 30kW will be hired.
The complete line up will be revealed at the festival only. There are different reasons for it. On one hand rearrangements are possible. Furthermore the Somuna Crew noticed the tendency that many djs and musicians use their performances for profiling under which the quality of the music is suffering. The Somuna Festival is not about "famousness" or "internationality". Only the musical quality is important.
To give a clear signal and to let the music come to the fore, the organizers decided to reveal only a "music guide" in which the musical variety should be apparent.

At the Somuna Festival nature will be the deoration. The starry sky, the mountains and trees will delight us with their beauty. All the decoration material will be made out of nature. To get sure that we can look in each others faces at night, fires and torches will light the darkness.

WORKSHOP AREA
In the Workshop Area you can gratuitously take part in different offers. If you would like to offer a workshop yourself (Yoga, Tai Chi, Dancing, Drum, Painting..), please contact us via the website oder directly register on www.forum.fiin.ch
CREATIVE AREA
This area gives space for creativity.
Implements for painting on paper, spanned sheets and for body painting stand by for personal expression, discovering of joy at designing and creative energy release.
JAM AREA
There will be a "Jam Area" too, a meeting point for open sessions. Please take your drums, rassles, guitars, didges, flutes and so on with you! Let's jam!!
INFRASTRUCTURE
There will be enough space for camping, as well as some quiter extra space for families.
Of course there will be free drinking water as well as toilets.

VISION
....I am standing on the top of the hill und look over the festival area.. on the dancefloor there s moving a melting crowd of dancing bodies. Some of the dancers have closed their eyes, deeply lost in their dance, many a smile on their lips. Others spin over the dancefloor, cheering, and passing their joy to those who are lying in the grass, dreaming or chatting, flowed through by music and sunshine.
I move my head and glance at the "Creative Area" where artworks emerge on sheets, paper and bodies..beautiful patterns and forms, expressions of dozens of souls as far as the eye can reach.... some of the artworks pass me by, their laughter is music to my ears. The music.. I smile to myself thinking of the passed hours, filled with mystical, soulful sounds. How easy it is to get lost in them when the djs and musicians are real artist who know how to play carfully with the sounds, to respond to the people on the dancefloor. Who take themaselves back by creating a space in which emotions can be lived through and transformed by the dance.... the sound of drums take me back into the present and my feet carry me to the "Jam Area". There they sit in a cyrcle, play their drums, shake their rassles and elicit rough tones out of their didgeridoos, accompanied by cheerfull guitar tunes. Some start to sing now and a spontaneous concert, an ode to life, raises into the sky...elation, lust for life...my view rambles back over the festival area.. the people take care to the spot, there s hardly any rubbish lying around. All of them understood what a privilege it is to experience something like this together, to dance in peace and harmony, to laugh, to celebrate our being together. What a feeling....
.... Somuna arised out of such a common vision. It is our concern to check our actions for authenticity again and again und to keep the vision in mind.
IMPORTANT INFOS
Only park on the speacially for the festival signed parking spaces. fire are only allowed in given fireplaces! It s not allowed to enter the forest (wild life protection). Take as less garbage as possible with you and use the waste seperation on the area.
We thank all the guests for comming and for respecting the nature and the people, who work for this festival for free, by collecting their gargabe (also cigarette bans!!) themselves.

09.00 - 02.00 und charges 10 Euro
Caution! There are NO runs at night from 02.00 - 09.00!!
After 2.00 there is no possibility to reach the fetival area!
